To create a sense of belonging’ and ‘a place for social interaction’, are just some of the phrases being used to describe Swinburne's new state-of-the-art student services building, 'The George.'
Based at the Hawthorn campus, the seven storey building accommodates study areas, a large open plan lounge accompanied by a student kitchen, a games room, a gym, multi-faith prayer rooms and health services.
With the new semester having just begun, the facility will provide the influx of new students with a base to relax and meet others.
